Short answer
The ChatGPT Millionaire meme is a comedy skit in which someone holds a phone to their mouth like a walkie-talkie, stammers out a call to ChatGPT and asks, “How I become a millionaire in 30 days?” The reply is “Get a job.” He answers, “Bro, what are they talking about?” and tries again. It comes from an Instagram reel by @glowboynoah and spread in October 2026 as remakes starring friends, dogs and cats, many made with AI.

What does the ChatGPT Millionaire meme mean?
The meme pokes fun at asking a chatbot for a shortcut to riches. The question wants a plan for a million dollars in 30 days; the answer is the most ordinary advice there is. The joke is the reaction: instead of accepting it, the asker acts as if the phone has insulted him.
People use it to tease a friend who asks ChatGPT about everything, to mock get-rich-quick content, or to cast a pet that has never worked a day as the one being told to get a job.
The script, line by line
The call
He holds the phone up to his mouth like a walkie-talkie and stammers the chatbot’s name: “Ch-ch-ChatGBT! ChatGBT!”
The question
“How I become a millionaire in 30 days?”
The answer
After a short pause, the phone replies: “Get a job.”
The reaction
“Bro, what are they talking about?”
The second try
He calls ChatGPT again: “What if you don’t want to get a job and you wanna be a millionaire?”
The line is usually quoted as “How I become a millionaire,” without “do.”
Why did it take off?
The question promises a shortcut to a huge goal and the answer offers something completely ordinary. Instead of accepting it, the character reacts as though the phone has insulted him, then changes the question rather than the plan.
It also lands in a familiar corner of the internet: videos promising you can get rich fast with AI. Asking a chatbot for a 30-day millionaire plan and being told to work punctures that promise in three words.
The setup is easy to recast. A cat that has never worked a day makes the reply even more absurd, and a familiar friend turns it into an inside joke, so remakes kept coming.
Where did it come from?
The skit comes from @glowboynoah, who posted it as an Instagram reel on Sep 18, 2026. By Oct 21, 2026, the reel had more than 589,000 likes and 5,900 comments.
In October 2026 the format moved to TikTok and Instagram Reels as remakes: people acting it out, friends cast in it, and AI versions starring dogs and cats. TikTok collects them on a “chat gpt millionaire meme” search page.

Popular versions
Acting it out
People film themselves with a phone held to their mouth and play the question, the pause and the offended reaction.
The friend who asks ChatGPT everything
Captions cast a specific friend, sibling or coworker as the one asking, which makes the reply a roast.
Dogs and cats
Pet versions put a dog or cat on the phone. A pet being told to get a job makes the reply even more absurd.
AI remakes from a photo
AI video tools turn one photo of a person or pet into the scene, so you can join without filming. Faces, voices and lip sync vary from tool to tool.
How to post it on TikTok or Reels
Pick who gets told to get a job
Yourself, a friend who asks ChatGPT about everything, or your dog or cat.
Film it or make it from a photo
Act out the call, the question, the reply and the reaction, or create an AI version from one photo.
Add a caption
Say who it is about, such as “me asking ChatGPT for a business plan.”
Label AI versions
If you made it with AI, say so, and only use photos of people who agreed to appear.
Make your own version
You can act out the joke yourself, edit footage you already have, or create an AI version from a photo. This tool is for the photo-to-video option: a new person or pet performs the scene without you filming the skit.
It makes a new vertical video built around the “Get a job” reply: 15 seconds lip-synced to the meme’s original audio, or 10–20 seconds with AI-generated English dialogue. It does not promise identical movements.
